1. saddle sb with sth
saddle可以表示“马鞍；（自行车、摩托车等的）车座，鞍座“。
注意，骑马是in the saddle，而不是on the saddle。
另外，in the saddle还有“掌握，控制“的意思，等于in charge或者in control。
The chairman is back in the saddle after his heart attack.
心脏病痊愈之后，主席又重新掌权了。
saddle sb with sth形容使（某人）负担，使（某人）承担（重任或难题）。
The company is saddled with debt.
公司负债累累。
2. heartening
形容某件事让人振奋，可以说it's heartening that……。
It was heartening to see so many people at the rally.
看到有这么多人参加集会真是令人很振奋。
3. sour grapes
英语里形容由于得不到而贬低某物，可以直接说sour grapes，也就是我们熟悉的“吃不着葡萄说葡萄酸“。
I don't think it's such a great job - and that's not just sour grapes because I didn't get it.
我认为这份工作不怎么样——我可不是因为吃不着葡萄说葡萄酸。
baloney和nonsense一样，就是胡说八道。
That's a bunch of baloney if you ask me.
如果你问我，我会说那是一派胡言。
