上课教的大部分内容都取自《Hello Teddy》这本书中的课文。这是一份英语教学系列丛书，是我供职的一家公司编写的。我将每课中的单词制成临时卡片，用来教孩子。他们喜欢说出这些单词，然后伸手拍卡片。我们会玩捉迷藏的游戏。一个孩子将卡片藏到某张椅子下面，而另外一个孩子则闭上眼睛，从1数到10。然后每个人开始有节奏地说出这个单词，声音的大小则取决于寻找卡片者与卡片距离的远近。除了让他们学会和复习如“我想要冰淇淋”、“我看见一只猴子”和“这是我妈妈”等一些简单的词和短语外，我还教他们唱歌。我最喜欢的一首是《划船歌》。里面的一句歌词“生活只不过是一场梦”我非常认同。因此，我总是很乐意跟他们一起唱。

Most of the education centers on lessons from the book Hello Teddy. It is an English teaching series written by a company I work with. I take the flash cards for each lesson and use these to teach the kids. They enjoy saying the word and then reaching out and slapping the cards. We play games such as Hide-and-Seek where one will hide the card under someone's chair while the other closes his eyes and counts to ten. Then everyone chants the word in a softer or louder voice (depending on how close or far away the seeker is to the card). In addition to learning and reviewing simple words and phrases like, "I want ice cream", "I can see a monkey" or "This is my mommy" I teach them songs. My favorite is "Row, Row, Row Your Boat". I whole-heartedly agree that "Life is but a Dream" and so I enthusiastically sing along with the group.
