《天赋异禀》第二季下月播出！里德重获新力量

The Strucker family is going to face some trying times in The Gifted Season 2, but not just because Andy has sided with Lorna and the Hellfire Club.

As it turns out, Reed will also have to deal with some burgeoning powers of his own.

事实证明，里德也将不得不面对一些他自己的新兴力量。

We learned in Season 1 that Reed's father had experimented on him as a child, giving him a serum which successfully suppressed his X-gene and thus his mutant abilities after a period of intense illness.

我们在第一季中了解到，里德的父亲在里德还是个孩子的时候就在他身上做了实验，给他注射了一种血清，这种血清成功地抑制了他的X基因，并且在一段时间的剧烈疾病之后抑制了他的突变能力。

According to Moyer, Season 2 will see Reed start to investigate his own past, which is eventually how these latent powers of his will come to light.

据Moyer透露，第二季将会看到里德开始调查自己的过去，这也是他最终如何将这些潜在力量显现出来的方式。

"I look back at my past, and I look at my father's notes, and I basically try to see who I could have been before, and that's how maybe things start to happen," Moyer told TV Guide of Reed's journey to discover his powers.

“我回头看我的过去及我父亲的笔记，我尝试着去寻找我以前可能是谁，这可能就是事情开始发生的方式，”Moyer告诉《电视指南》关于里德探索自己能力的旅程。

As for what those powers will be, Moyer would only tease, "It's in the family."

The Gifted premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 8/7c on Fox.
