天赋异禀》S1E12追剧笔记：闲逛用英语该怎么说？

今天，我看了《天赋异禀》第12集。

剧情主要讲述了埃斯梅三姐妹再次介入特勤局和变种人基地之间的冲突，让基地的同伴们，产生了意见的分歧。

里德的母亲被坎贝尔盯上了，在向老母亲解释一番后，总算让老母亲了解清楚奥托的所作所为，老母亲告诉了里德一个重要的消息。

1、push back

 
短语：

push back有多种意思，“使撤退，使回到原处；把…推回原处；推迟”，在俚语中有吞下，咽下的意思，在该剧中是反抗的意思。

3、tap into

 
短语：

tap into的意思是利用，开发。

例句：

4、poke around

 
短语：

poke around的意思是“闲逛”，poke around in my mind即在我的思想里闲逛，引申为窥探我的思想。

例句：

The man who owns this land said I could poke around here anytime.

这块地的主人说我可以随时到这儿来闲逛。
